Cellar Door & Vineyard Lighting
Stramac Lighting works with cellar doors, restaurants, function centres and resort operators across Pokolbin and the broader Hunter Valley wine country. The brief here is different from a typical commercial project — venues are visited specifically for the experience, much of that experience happens in the evening, and lighting carries a disproportionate share of the load in making the place feel the way the operator wants it to feel.
Our team is based at our Wickham showroom, about 45 minutes from Pokolbin, and we work across the full Central Coast to Yamba and Central West corridor. We're regularly in the Valley on site visits, product demonstrations and commissioning, and we're comfortable working alongside hospitality designers, architects and venue owners who care about how a space reads at night.

Aged Care Lighting in Pokolbin
Cellar doors live or die on atmosphere, and lighting is one of the most direct levers operators have to shape it. We work with Pokolbin cellar doors on dimmable warm-white fittings for tasting bars, accent lighting on bottle displays and feature walls, low-glare overhead lighting that lets guests read labels and tasting notes without squinting, and exterior fittings that make the entrance unmistakable from the road after dusk. Where heritage shed buildings or rammed-earth walls are part of the fabric, we choose fittings and mounting solutions that respect the existing material rather than fighting it.
Education & Childcare Lighting in Pokolbin
The Valley's restaurants and function centres host long lunches, weddings and corporate events, and the lighting needs to flex across all of them. We help operators specify dimmable systems with separately controlled zones — feature lighting over the table, ambient wash on the walls, decorative pendants where they earn their place — so the venue can be tuned for the time of day and the type of event. Wedding-heavy venues benefit from architectural lighting on garden ceremony locations and reception barns that photographs well and doesn't dominate the space.
Office & Workplace Lighting in Pokolbin
Resorts, villas and boutique accommodation across Pokolbin call for lighting that makes guest spaces feel premium without driving up the operating cost or maintenance load. We specify warm-temperature LED fittings with strong colour rendering for bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas, façade and pathway lighting that helps guests navigate the property at night, and pool and outdoor entertainment lighting selected for the conditions. Energy efficiency matters too — these are buildings that run their lights every night, every week of the year.
Civic & Sports Lighting in Pokolbin
Outdoor weddings, festivals and harvest events make Pokolbin a busy place for temporary and semi-permanent exterior lighting. We help venues specify permanent infrastructure — power, mounting points, IP-rated fittings — that supports a wide range of event setups without having to be rebuilt every time. For permanent vineyard and garden lighting, we choose fittings with the right IP ratings for outdoor exposure, finishes that hold up to UV and weather, and warranties that mean a failed fitting two years in isn't a major event.
Landscape & Architectural Lighting in Pokolbin
Garden lighting, in-ground uplights on mature trees, façade grazers on cellar door buildings and discreet path lighting across the broader site all extend how a Pokolbin venue is used after dark. We specify products built for permanent outdoor service — properly IP-rated, serviceable, and backed by warranties that mean something — and work with landscape designers and venue managers through the lighting design so the result reads as intentional rather than added on. The aim is lighting that supports the architecture and the planting, not lighting that competes with it.
